How to Set Up the Google Calendar Integration

This helps you stay organized and makes it easy to access your registration link directly from your calendar.

What This Integration Does

When connected, Showable will:

  • Automatically add your open houses to Google Calendar

  • Keep event details updated if anything changes

  • Include a link to your registration page in the calendar event

How to Connect Google Calendar

Step 1: Go to Integrations

  1. Click Customize in the left sidebar

  2. Select Integrations

  3. Click View Integration under Google Calendar

Step 2: Connect Your Account

  1. Click Connect Google Calendar

  2. Choose your Google account

  3. Click Continue to grant access

Step 3: Grant Permissions

Google will ask you to approve access.

  • Make sure “View and edit events on your calendar” is checked

  • Click Continue to finish connecting

This permission allows Showable to create and update your open house events automatically.

Step 4: Enable Calendar Sync

Once connected:

  • Make sure Calendar sync is turned on

Your open houses will now automatically sync to your calendar.

Important: When Events Are Synced

Only open houses that are created or updated after you connect the integration will sync to Google Calendar.

  • Existing open houses will not automatically appear

  • To sync an older event, simply edit and save it again

What Gets Added to Your Calendar

Each open house will appear as a calendar event that includes:

  • Property address

  • Date and time

  • Event details

  • A link to your registration page

How Updates Work

If you update your open house in Showable:

  • Time changes → automatically update in Google Calendar

  • Details change → automatically update

  • Event canceled → removed or updated in your calendar

No manual syncing required.

  • Quickly access your registration link from your calendar

  • Share calendar events with your team or assistant

  • Stay on schedule across multiple open houses

Disconnecting Google Calendar

To disconnect:

  1. Go to Customize → Integrations

  2. Open Google Calendar

  3. Click Disconnect

Troubleshooting

Events not showing up?

  • Make sure Calendar sync is turned on

  • Try disconnecting and reconnecting your account

Permission issues?

  • Reconnect and ensure “View and edit events on your calendar” is enabled

Wrong calendar?

  • Confirm you selected the correct Google account during setup
